Bio:

Erika became interested in art during her junior year of high school. She took a drawing class in which she experimented with different mediums and discovered her artistic talent. In 2016 she started working at an Art School where she continues to work. After graduating from Gallaudet University she hopes to work as a freelance artist.

Artist Statement:

While Erika’s art is primarily focused on the human form and portraiture she also enjoys working in various other mediums. As both a realist and minimalist, Erika appreciates art work that is to the point and conveys a sense of practicality. At Gallaudet she has begun to work with animation, 3d modeling, and graphic novel art
